  1. Yes, a good little tutorial on helping to ease the embroiderer away from the formality always seen in stitch dictionaries and most embroidery tutorials. Very cautious though – I count my self so fortunate in having studied with several embroiderers who encouraged very experimental approaches to stitch – with different thread guages, spacings, paint in backgrounds – in other words free handeverything as you go along – examples in Creative Stitch Gallery pre 1988 gallery on my website http://www.alisonschwabe.com
